KPRC 2 News states that on average, Americans gain about 6 pounds during the holiday season. What can you do to counter the holiday festivities?
Reporter Haley Hernandez visits the Baylor College of Medicine, currently the only hospital in the Houston area, to get the scoop on UltraShape and how it can help patients with problem areas.
She speaks with registered nurse, Elaine Wells, who has lost 2 inches from the treatment and explains the treatment as “transmitting ultrasonic waves which is breaking up the fat cells.” A doctor states it “feels like a buzzing sensation…painless…it’s really very comfortable.”
Dr. Jason Pozner, a plastic surgeon in Boca Raton, FL is featured on NewsChannel 5 as he discusses how UltraShape is a great non-surgical option for people to go after their "trouble spots" of fat. The news segment follows UltraShape patient Kimberly. She runs every day and does yoga 5 times a week – but despite being in pretty good shape, still has a specific trouble spot in her abdomen. In her interview, Kimberly tells Newschannel 5, “I have this area in my stomach that I just couldn’t get rid of.” The interview shows Kimberly getting her last treatment in her series of three.
Dr. Pozner explains that UltraShape is different from other non-invasive treatments because, not only is it painless, it can treat a larger portion of the body at one time. He also reinforces that patients can get treatment and then return right back to their routine.
The video includes Kimberly’s final B&A photos with impressive contouring results, as well as a follow-up interview where she happily talks about losing 2 inches, noticing the difference and being glad that she did the procedure.
Featuring Dr. Bruce Katz of Juva Skin and Laser Center in Manhattan, NY, this news segment follows patient, Jackie A., who after having her daughter, wasn’t able to get rid of the extra fat, even with exercise. She is excited that this treatment will allow her to see results faster. Jackie reports that after 2 weeks, she was already noticing a flatter tummy.
This news segment features the patient receiving her 2nd of 3 treatments. Dr. Bruce Katz describes the UltraShape as a major advance in body contouring. During the treatment, the patient is comfortably responding to interview questions and describes the treatment as feeling a sensation of vibration.
